DARTON GROUP Consulting Co-Founder + Principal Manager Rochelle Rivas will be joining the Charlotte Business Journal on March 30th as a Mentor at the BIZWOMEN MENTORING MONDAY event. This one-of-a-kind event brings together women in a casual, fast-paced coaching atmosphere.
The event will offer the opportunity to choose from 51 mentors who are the most influential women in the business community for one-on-one coaching sessions for seven minute conversations. The attendees will stand in line and wait for a particular mentor or move to the next mentor available. This will allow the attendees to network with each other while they are waiting, which is just as important as the coaching sessions. We expect every attendee to have the opportunity to meet between one and seven mentors. The quick turnaround is organized chaos which will be fast, fun and fulfilling as everyone gets the chance to meet new people and gain new insights.
Immediately following the mentoring program, The Charlotte Business Journal’s Academic Partner, Northeastern University-Charlotte will be presenting a moderated panel discussion entitled: What Mentoring Means to Successful Charlotte Business Women from 9:40 – 10:30am.
Moderated by Colleen Brannan, President of BRANSTORM PR, the mentor panel consists of:
- Dr. Cheryl Richards, CEO & Regional Dean, Northeastern University–Charlotte
- Dianne Bailey, Non Profit Organizations Practice Group Leader, Robinson Bradshaw & Hinson, P.A.
- Moira LoCascio, CEO, McLaughlin Young Group
All three panelists and the moderator have received the Charlotte Business Journal’s Top 25 Women in Business Award. In addition to personal anecdotes and actionable advice, there will be Q&A time with these accomplished and inspiring role models to top off your Mentoring Monday Morning.
