Vice President of Sales and Operations

Aaron Laughlin serves as the Vice President of Sales and Operations for the DARTON Group, a boutique consulting firm specializing in highly experienced finance, accounting and project management professionals for projects, contract engagements and interim roles. Aaron leads the company’s operations and is driving the initiative to re-engineer the company’s systems, processes and procedures to improve the total client experience and drive revenue growth.

Before joining DARTON Group, Aaron was a District Manager for a Fortune 500 Big Box Retailer and was responsible for $90 Million in revenue where he led districts in central Texas as well as central California. In these roles, Aaron established processes that drove efficiency, increased revenue and most importantly, cultivated a culture that fostered excellent customer service. In addition, Aaron was responsible with training new leadership across multiple levels of the organization.

Prior to that, Aaron worked for several years in the grocery industry in various roles such as Category Manager, Pricing Manager and Store Manager.

During his 20+ year tenure in leadership roles, Aaron has developed many programs designed to drive efficiency in over 1,400 retail locations, many of these programs have been initiated across organizations and utilized as best practices. This type of leadership and skillset will be deployed in the consulting industry to enable cost effective programs for the clients that DARTON Group Consulting serves.

Aaron brings a unique perspective to DARTON Group with the wealth of experience he has accumulated nationwide across several industries.

Aaron studied business management at the University of Colorado in Denver, Colorado. He recently completed the Harvard Business School Management Development Program at Queens University.
