We believe in making a difference at DARTON GROUP!

Our Managing Partners and co-founders, for example, are especially passionate about serving two organizations near and dear to their hearts.  Rochelle Rivas currently serves as Chair of Charlotte-based Classroom Central.  Classroom Central is an awesome organization with a mission that is simple, yet profound.  Classroom Central equips students living in poverty to effectively learn by collecting and distributing free school supplies. Mark Weber serves on the Core Volunteer Team with the Charlotte Affiliate of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.  The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network is a nationwide network of supporters working together to advance research, support patients and create hope for those affected by pancreatic cancer.

We invite you to join us in making a difference in 2014.

LinkedIn has announced a new offering this week that makes it all the easier to find volunteer opportunities to make a difference in the new year.  LinkedIn on Wednesday launched its “volunteer marketplace,” which lets users browse volunteer opportunities posted by nonprofit groups. Nonprofits, meanwhile, can reach out to LinkedIn users who have expressed an interest in volunteering.
