Todd Cohen (Editor and Publisher of Raleigh-based Philanthropy Journal) published an article last week entitled “Accounting is where the nonprofit buck stops”.  The article serves to reinforce the need for nonprofits, during this time of economic challenge, to “track every dollar that comes in and out the door”.

The project-based services and interim professionals that DARTON offers provide a value-based option to the high-cost services associated with the Big 4 and other such organizations.  Many consultants on team DARTON have senior-level finance and accounting experience (including board-level expertise) in the nonprofit world.  A DARTON nonprofit finance professional offers the right solution, at the right cost, to serve nonprofit organizations across the greater Charlotte region.
